THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL.
The Governor-General. Lord JelUcoeaccompanied by Lady Jellicoe- will attend a meeting in connection with the Girl Guide Movement, in the Town Hal' Concert Chamber, this evening. His Excellency sailed the Iron Duke in the Victoria Cruising Club's races on Saturday- afternoon. Lord "Jellieoe will leave Auckland tomorrow mornins for Cambridge, where he will unveil the War Memorial. He will then proceed to Harlock Xcrt'i, to present the prizes at the breaking up functions of lona College and YVoodford House, and on Sunday December be [will unveil the War Memorial at Tar.)dale.
His Excellency, accompanied by the Hon. Myrtle and the Hon. NoTaii .lellicoe, expects to return to Auckland on the morning Tuesday. December IS.
