WAR MEMORIAL.
CO-OPERATION WANTED. TO REALISE FULL AMOUNT. This is the final day of the week's campaign for funds for the erection of the War "Memorial Museum. During the past Aveek various public bodies have taken charge at the cenotaph, but until the results of the house-to-house campaign come to hand it will not be possible to say the exact amount that has been realised. However, it is evident that a substantial sum is still wanted. Many people, fully realising the significance of the appeal, have given freely to the cause, but it will now be necessary for all citizens to co-operate in a general campaign before Auckland's ■ lasting tribute to its glorious dead can be erected. Yesterday the Victoria League and Rotary Club were in charge at the cenotaph, and the amounts collected were as follows: — Mr. 11. Bloomfleld £<*> n U M.M J3 " JJ iMrs. L. A.
