-Members of the Whakatane Harbour Board visaed White Island recently to inspect all the board's property there which had. been used when harbour improvements were in progress. It was decided to dismantle all the gear and bring it tc the mainland for sale. White Island has been very quiet lately, and very little steam is in evidence." Mr. J F.
