————li . I The Ilobsonville and Britain's Crook I flower show, held last Saturday In the Hobson vllle school grounds, was well attended and successful. The entries were not quite so numerous as In preceding years. A Maypole team of IlcibsonvlHo school girls danced twice during the afternoon, and tennis was aJso indulged In. Afternoon tea, strawberries and cream were served under the trees at the school residence. A dance was held In the evening. lln all about £20 was taken. I The Hobsonville Ijltoniry Society hold i their annual social, and It was extremely successful from beginning to end. owing to the strenuous efforts of Mr. Allen. Several games were played, and Misses Orto and Sarah Stagpoole. Messrs. Allen and T. Sctagpoole contributed items. Light reI freshnients. strawberries and ice cream were I handed round. | ==____
