[ (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. Percy Bellamy, aged 29, who is said to be an Australian, was charged at the Police Court to-day with assaulting a man. Sub-Inspector Cummings said that the accused was a notorious criminal and that the police would endeavour to have hini deported back to Australia. He was remanded in order to enable the formalities of the Emigration Department to be complied with.
