TAKAPUNA LOAN POLL.
A general meeting of the BayswaterBelmont. Progressive Association, was held in' the clubhouse last evening. Mr. Knaggs occupied the chair. A general discussion took place in reference to the loan proposals coming before the public on. Tuesday, next. The following resolution was carried unanimously:— "That in view of the Mayor's assurance that he .will bring down proposals for a loan for side streets before the expiration of his term of office, and also his assurance that a resolution coming before the council that the. sums allocated to ' each street or drainage area, would be spent, on sucli streets or drainage area only, would have his support, this association supports all the proposals submitted."
