ALL PRICES VERY FIRM. LONDON, December C. At the wool sales to-day there was a good selection of crossbreds and a small offering of Merinos. All prices were very firm, with a continued hardening tendency for croßsbreds. New Zealand P.A.W. clip realised 20d— (A. and N.Z.)
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cablegram from their London house under date December 5s —
Wool Sales. —Compared with the closing rates of the last sales, prices arc about 5 per cent higher for scoured and greasy Merino, fine greasy crossbred. fine crossbred elipe, and fine scoured crossbred; and about 10 per cent to 15 per cent higher for medium and coarse scoured crossbred. The market is strong at the advance.
