DISCONTENTED DRIVERS.

• . . TROUBLE SETTLED. The exception taken by the members of the Drivers' Union to the employment by a city firm of two non-unionists and which was mentioned in the "Star" yesterday, has been settled, according to an official statement made to-day. The secretary of the union, Mr. G. Davis, states that the trouble was in no way due to the firm employing the men, and it was the fault of "the employees in question in not joining the union. This morning the men decided to fulfil their obligations, which means that the stop-work meeting asked for by the union will not be called.
