PENALTY OF "INCOG."
Travelling incognito may hare its advantages, but it also has Its drawbacks, a fact of which the Prince of Wales Is now probably aware. During his Canadian visit the Prince received shoals of letters. In fhns? His Royal Highness was addressed in many curious ways, such us Mr. Renfrew and Mr. Wales. The quaintest, however, was from a Canadian correspondent who directed bis missive to "Edward P. Renfrew." It is. of course, the American custom to give a man's first ann only the initials of his second name. Good fellow though he is, I rather imagine the Prince wouldn't relish this somewhat democratic and familiar mode of address.
