Tho Northern Racing Tigeon Club held its eleventh 1023 old bird race on Saturday from Ohakunc, a distance of 182 miles. Owing to a late liberation and adverse weather conditions, only three birds were clocked iv within an hour of sunset. These three plucky yearlings, bred and owned by Mr. Nello Porter, won the first, second and third prizes. \lthoui_h too late for race time four more birds, belonging to Messrs.-Watson, Morton and Crowhurst, were found in their lofts late that night.
