ARMISTICE DAY.
SPECIAL CHURCH SERVICES. TWO MINUTES' SILENCE. Special church services will be held to-morrow in connection with the commemoration of Armistice Day. This i? the first time the anniversary has fallen on a Sunday. There will be the same observance of the two trirautes silence as in the past, and to enable that to be done many of the churches advertise that their morning service will begin at 10.45 instead of 11, in order to permit of the solemn silence to begin precisely at 11.0. the hour at which it is observed right throughout the Empire. As »" the past, a gun will be fired from Albert Park at 11.0 precisely, when the trains will stop running, and all persons * br "f d at the time are requested to observe the silence as on past occasions. Almost without exception the churches announce special services, and the service at ot. Matthew's will be attended by members of the Returned Soldiers' Association.
