Aii outbreak of fire occurred at Wailri yesterday afternoon in a block of brick buildings in the centre of the town known as Kewdiok's. It is occupied by Mr. Keatine. carrying on business as a baker. The fire originated jn a back verandah on the second storey of the main building. The fire brigade was promptly on the scene, and soon had (he outbreak in hand, preventing the fire from extending to the next door premises, which is an old building of wood. The total damage does not exceed £10.— Own correspondent.
