GREAT TIDAL WAVE. VILLAGERS SAFE. (■Received 11 a.m.) VANCOUVER, September 13. The fishing village of San Jose de Cabo, near Cape San Lucas, Lower California, has been wiped out by a tidal wave. It is believed that the majority of the villagers (500 in number) are safe and on high ground.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
