PAPAKURA MASONIC LODGE.
The Papakura Masonic Lodge, No. RO, lir>lii their annual ladies' social evening on Tuesday. Notwithstanding the unfavourable weather a record attendance of members and their [ruests attended. This was tin- lirst function in the new lodge building, and the extra accommodation made the seating of uear 100 suests possible. The first portion of the evening took the form of vocal and instrumental items, ufrer which the guests adjourned to supper, the room freins tastefully adorned with greenery, Chinese lanterns and streamers. Tinusual toasts were honoured, that of "The guests of th« evening" (the ladies) being most enthusiastically received.
