Returned Soldiers' Association at a special meeting on Tuesday evening, and I was fully discussed. j Mr. J. O. Taylor said that the present rooms could hardly lie called cluh rooms. He had gone into the mutter, and had drawn up a scheme whereby' a new building could be erected on the present site, and the R.S.A. could occupy I part of it. The scheme was devised in I such a way that the association would not have to go to the public for financial support. By letting the new building as offices the association could sit rent free. It was estimated that each floor would bring in about £700. A memorial hall was provided to seat 200 people. The point the association bad i to decide was whether the scheme was j worth going on with. The total cost of the building was estimated at f.'tO.OOO. The equity of the present building wns approximately f.iOOO. which would serve as a substantial deposit on the new building. After some discussion further consideration was deferred until a fuller meeting had been secured. I
