BOY'S CURIOUS ACT. SYDKEY, .September 12. A routh named Dowie, employed by an insurance company, was fined £20 on a charge of attempting to steal. This was tlie outcome of a statement made by Dowie to the police that tivo men i-hTew pepper in his eyes and robbed him 'Hie police evidence showed that, the raissin X money was found in a seam of Dovrie's overcoat.
