ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL.
MANAGEMENT MEETING. The Management Committee of the A.F.A. met last evening, Mr A. Mcnzles In the chair. Saturday's Fixture —A long letter was received Irom the Mnnawatu As»ocintlon detailing preliminaries with regard to | Manawatu'e challenge match to be played j here at the Domain on Saturday. The I visitors will be the guests at the annual j "smoko" and prize presentation In the evening. Brown Shield Match.—The Manawatu team will arrive here on Friday morning. Mr. J. H. Dick Is manager. Mr. Tlllson was appointed manager of. the Auckland team. Club's protest against the play-off for the championship was further discussed, a letter being received from tho council upholding the Association. It ns decided to write Northcoto explaining the matter. Chatham Cup.—Mr. L. C. H. Dawson was appointed the association's delegate to Huntly wit hthe Northcote team. A wire from Wellington stated that If Wellington qualified and Northcote prevailed, the game would probably be arranged to take place at Auckland. Appreciation.—The Chelsea Club wrote thanking the management for all it had done for the club during the season. FIXTURES FOR SATURDAY.
