AGE DISABILITY.

HARBOUR BOARD'S CAUTION. The pre-war cry of "too old at forty, fifty, or sixty."' as the case might be. has been varied somewhat in a recommendation adopted by the Auckland Harbour Board at its meeting yesterday. Following upon reports submitted to the Board in committee from the engineer, the harbourmaster, and the traffic manager. giving the names of men in the Board's service of the age of sixty and over, the committee recommended, "That the engineer, harbourmaster, and traffic manager be instructed that care be taken not to employ elderly men in positions where they are liable to accident.' . This was adopted without comment.
