AUCKLAND HARBOUR BOARD.
INCOME FOR AUGUST. ESTDIATES FAR EXCEEDED. Auckland Harbour Board receipts for August showed an increase on those oi August. 1022. The cash receipts from ordinary sources in the Waitemata, Harbour amounted to £22.487. which was £4436 less than those for July, but £42.">6 better than those for August. 1922. For the past eight months of the year the receipts were £23,307 in excess of the estimates. The receipts for August from Manukau Harbour were £340. which was £207 less than those of August. 1022. explained by the fact that in the previous August the Railway Department made two payments covering two four-weekly periods as against one last month. For the past eight months the receipts were £224 in excess of the estimates.
