If yqur land is fenced within the meaning of the Fencing Act the onus is on your neighbour. NELLIE.—If you are destitute any near relative of sufficient ability can be forced to contributte to your maintenance. MRS. B.—Yours is not a legal query. Consult a directory. DESERTED.—Not less than £30. L.W.—Your claim would be against the firm that sold it to you. I do not think, however, that you could successfully bring a claim, although it might be worth commencing an action. There would be every reason to expect that they would settle the case out of court by making you some concession.
