OUR PRODUCE ABROAD.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —In your issue of September 10 I see a reference made by Mr. R. Henry to New Zealand butter. It is quite true. A friend from England spent his only Sunday in Auckland with us, and when he saw the milk poured into his cup of tea ho said, " Well, 1 have always longed to get back to New Zealand. It is a plaoo where you get real New Zealand butter and Now Zealand milk. When we boardod the C'orinthie in England we had our first taste of real Sew Zealand buttor. Those ships take in New Zealand a stock enough to provide for the return voyage. I can assure you that directly New Zealand butter is landed in England a great portion is not put on the market, but much is mixed with all eorts of other inferior butters, and labelled Now Zealand butter, thils spoiling the New Zealand trade. At time- private parcels are sent to friends at Homo, and if by chance we have the fortune to share with them we consider ourselves fortunate." — I am, etc., ONE WHO KNOWS.
