JUDGE ORR-WALKER.

RETURNS TO NEW ZEALAND. Chief Judge C. R. Orr-Walkcr returned from Samoa by the Tofua yesterday, and will probably again take up his duties as a magistrate in Xew Zealand. He lias been two years in .Samoa, and owing to ill-health of Mrs. Walker the doctors advised him to quit those shores. "During his stay in Samoa (says the "Times") the administration of justice has been ably lad fairly carried out, and his Honor has earned the respect of all with whom he has come in contact." Before leaving Apia, .Judge OrrWalker was presented with a framed illuminated address subscribed to by a large and representative number of the citizens, and he was also entertained at a farewell gathering by members of the Bar and the Commissioners of the High Court, and the Police Court. The speeches were all very complimentary in respect of the good work and popularity of the judge.
