DEATH OF NONAGENARIAN. I MR. RF.N JOHNSON. ' An old New Zealand pioneer of _S years' standing. Mr. Benjamin Johnson. ; passed away at Howick on Saturday, at the very advanced age of 00 yearm. The late Mr. Johnson was born in Wiltshire, , England, and tirst went out to India at J the time of the Mutiny, as a iiiemlx'r of the llovcn. .r-lieneral's staff, on which , he served for about two years.
