•< CAMBIST" VISITS WKSTMUIC. SEES BIRTH OF NEW TOWNSHIP. "Cambist," whose name is well-known throughout the Dominion for his articles in "New Zealand Truth," dealing with financial matters, publishes in that paper this week a lengthy and enthusiastic report of his visit to the Westniere Estate. The disinterested opinion of such a well-known critic on this newly-opened estate is of great interest and importance to section seekers in Auckland, as will be seen from tile brief extracts from his report that are given here. In his article, 'Cambist" saye, "The land is cheap at present prices, the tonne for purchasers excellent, the situation of the estate desirable from every viewpoint. There is accommodation for 320 families, and on this assumption a. new suburb containing from 1500 to 2000 persons will be established. These sections will resolve themselves into valuable properties within the limits of Wcstmere, the new suburb of the city of Aqjkland." Regarding the location, lie saysM "The estate is not an isolated block of land. It is a block which on every side is surrounded by permanent settlements s In that settlement are the present effects of'millions of massed capital. Westmere is a beautifully level block of land. It , lies well to the sun. It has enough gentle slope to carry off the surface waters naturally. The feeling about it is warm and comfortaole, with breezes to tune up a grateful coolness at the end of hot summer days." "Gambisf closes his review by saying: "One of the best investments offering in this, country is well placed building properties. 'Cambist , has no fears regarding the outcome of investment in this block." A splendid choice of these desirable Westmere sections is still available. Head the advertisement published elsewhere in this paper, and see the sections during this week-end. —Gray and Cockroft, Winstone Buildings, Qu«en Street, Auckland.—(Ad.) .. . ; ~",;;,.■..".
