FINDING OF COMMISSION.
NO ONE TO BLAME MELBOURNE, August 3. The Royal Commission's report on th' loss of the steamer Sumatra, tabled li the House of Representatives, states tha exceptionally heavy gales overtook th vessel north of Tacking Point, and mos probably the Sumatra shipped a succee sion of heavy seas, which ovcrwhelmei her. The report further states that th vessel was properly manned and adc quately provided with life-saving appli ances,"and that she left Sydney in good seaworthy condition. The cargo was saf and properly stowed, and the vessel wa not overloaded. The report conclude that no blame was attached to anyone.(A. and N.Z. Cable. 1
