TEN SHILLING TOTE WANTED.

(To tbe Editor.) I

Sir,—An election to fill vacancies on the committee of the Auckland Racing Club trill be held on August 13. I, and, I think, a number of other members, hold the opinion that provision should be made for tbe issuing of 10/ tickets 'in the lawn enclosure. At Wellington, Christchurch, and Manawatu, there is 'a 10/ machine inside. The Racing Coml mission strongly urged that 10/ tickets i should be issued inside and out. The I views of candidates for seats on tbe committee would be welcome. My vote, and as many as I can influence, will go to those candidates in favour of a 10/ issue in the enclosure.—l am, etc., RACEGOER.
