There was I again a keen demand, and in many cases ■of choice and prime ox there was a further advance in values. J Extra prime ox sold to £19/ per lOOlb; j choice and prime ox, £ l 6/ to £ I 8/; I ordinary and plain ox, £ 1 2/ to £ 1 0/; prime young cow and heifer beef, £1 to £15/; ordinary cow beef, 10/ to 18/; rough beef, 0/ to 12/; extra heavy prime ateerg ranged in price from £13 to £13 IT/6; heavy prime steers, £11 to £12 15/; lighter prime steers, £9 to £10 19/; light prime steers, £7 10/ to £8 in/; unfinished and small, £4 to £7; extra heavy prime young cows and helfers, £ 7 10/ to £ 8 10/; heavy prime young cows and heifers, £6 5/ to £7 5/; illghter, £4 10/ to £6; other cows, £15/ Ito £4; bulls, £2 to £5 17/6. Sixteen extra choice steers from Mr. W. Voepcr, Dlngley Dell, Cambridge, £13 10/2.
