WELLIGTON INVESTMENT COMPANY.
The annual meeting of the Wellington I Investment Trustee and Agency Company, I Ltd., waa held yesterday. Mr. G. Shirt-1 cliffe. chairman of directors, said the net I available profit for the year amounted to I £5569, as compared with £4240 last year. I Tula was largely accounted for by tie fact that last year the provision for income tax was largely over-estimated -and- consequently only £146 had to be provided tola year for that purpose. Reduced expenses had also contributed to the favourable result. The directors proposed that, of the available balance .of profit, after providing a dividend of 6 per cent for the year, £1000 should be added to the reserve fund, which will then stand at £21.700, and that the balance of £848 should be carried forward. The report and balance-sheet were adopted. Messrs. G. ShlrtcUffe and J. H McKay were re-elected directors. '^^ •WOOL AMD TAIXOW.
