DELEGATES ANNOYED.
CURTAILMENT OF PRIVILEGES. WILL TRY AUCKLAND NEXT. (By Telegraph.— Own Correspondent.) PALMERSTON NORTH, this day. The National Dairy Association, it is claimed, have antagonised a large number of producers who attend the annual winter show as delegates to the National Dairy Association meetins;. No free gate tickets have been issued, entrance to the large meeting room being gained from the street, instead of from the grounds as heretofore. Therefore it was significant that when the question of holding the next meeting was considered Auckland secured tho verdict. Being the first occasion on which a meeting will have been held .away from Palmerston, which has always been regarded as the most central to both islands, an effort was made to have the meeting held in Hawcra. but one speaker doubted Hawera's ability to provide accommodation for visiting delegates. He had visions of some two hundred or so having to sleep out in some of (lie town's beautiful parks. Tt will be interesting to see if Auckland can secure the same representation from both islands as Palmerston has done in the past.
