PLUNKET NURSES.
ADDITIONAL GRANT OF £3125. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, tin's da } -. Cabinet has decided to grant the application of the Plunket Society for a further grant of £.'il2r> a year to enable 25 additional muses to Iμ.' stationed in newdistricts. There are at present <i 2 Plunket nurses working in New Zealand. The Government subsidises the salary of eaeli nurse in the sum of £12i5, a little more than half they receive for salary and expenses. The Government's additional grant to the Plunket Society will enable a nurse to be established in the Tauranea district.
