N.Z. SOCCER ELEVEN.

A -WIN 12* QUEENSLAND. SYDNEY, June 3. The New Zealand Association football team defeated Ipswich by four goals to two, after a close, even, and stubbornly fought game in a broiling sun, which was especially trying to the visitors. The New Zealandcrs opened the score through minutes after the start. Warrell equalised, and just before the interval Ballard added another. Campbell and Balk for the visitors, and Rumble for Ipswich, scored in the second half.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
