PROGRESS IN PANMURE.
A meeting was held in Ihe Mount "Wellington ltoail Hoard office for the purpose of forming a Progressive League. The movement was taken up by a representative gathering of residents ot both districts in an enthusiastic spirit. A Progressive League was formed, and the following officers elect ed: —President. Mr. W. (I. Brown: vice-president, Mr. Maurice Harding; treasurer. Mr. T. 1.. May; hon. secretary. Mr. A. .1. V. Walker.
Various projects were discussed for forwarding the district's advancement, viz.. railway, electricity, water supply, up-to-date roads, etc.. etc.
