. ITS SECOND CRISIS. (By Telegraph.—Presß Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. Questions relating to • the Church of England Men's Society were discussed at the Anglican Church Congress this afternoon. The Bishop of Goulburn said the I Church of England Men's Society was 1 reaching its second crisis, though it had not so much lost ground to make up in I Xew Zealand as it had in Australia. There was no finer type of manhood in tho world than that of Australia and | Xew Zealand. The great mass of the \ meh might be coarse-tongued, but were clean livers and presented splendid material for God's work. They were plastic, hut they were beginning to set, and he prayed that they might he touched before they set into a mould. Mr. O. Kingdon (London) conveyed fraternal greetings from the Bishop of London, who was president of the Church of England Men's Society, to the overseas bishops. (Applause.) As a (member of the head council, he brought them the warmest greetings of the council. There never was a time in the history of the church, he continued, when the call to men was so necessary.
