NEW DIAMOND FIELD.
A NEW SOUTH WALES FIND. (Received 2 p.m.) SYDNEY, this day. An important find of precious stones of pood quality is reported near Cowra, on the Lachlan River, 223 miles west of Sydney. It is stated that they include diamonds, sapphires, rubies and turquoises.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
