OFFICERS AND MJSX OF THE >'A\ I. j Those officers and men on H.M.s. i Chatham who are'shortly going Home jat the end of their commission were ( addressed on board the warship this afternoon by his Excellency the Gov-ernor-General (Viscount Jellicoe). The i commission does not actually expire ! until after the Chatham returns from ! the Island cruise upon wliivh she is about to depart, but his Excellency told them to-day that he would not be able to meot them later on so he took the present opportunity of bidding them farewell. • The -following officers will arrive m Auckland next month to take the p:ace jof those whose time has expired :- j H.M.e.
