' period of 2000-IDOO 8.C., says the "Glasgow • Herald." The discovery was made l)y Mr. James; j Scott, -who wns digging tor sand to make reuient. It was found that there were ! three layers of stone, under which there nvas a fist containing the skeleton of a fully developed man and an urn of pottery. ! The urn was taken out of the tomb, ana : ■ the National Museum of Antiquaries, Edln- ! burgh, was acquainted of the discovery. !
