exuAXGB DISCOVERT IN SCOTLAXU. ■ A griive has been discovered on the farm ; iptiilv. D, Milne of Mains of Cattertlne, Kln- ! cardlneslilre, and is said to belong to the . ' period of 2000-IDOO 8.C., says the "Glasgow • Herald." The discovery was made l)y Mr. James; j Scott, -who wns digging tor sand to make reuient. It was found that there were ! three layers of stone, under which there nvas a fist containing the skeleton of a fully developed man and an urn of pottery. ! The urn was taken out of the tomb, ana : ■ the National Museum of Antiquaries, Edln- ! burgh, was acquainted of the discovery. ! Dr. Low, of Aberdeen University, | Inspected the grave, an-" etated that in . ; bid opinion the skeleton we. , that of a man : : fcelonginsf to the early Bronze lige, and | that the' remains might be 3300 years old. ■." .The skeleton' is that of a big-boned person with a broad skull similar to those found lv other cists discovered In Aberieenshlre.
