Mr. K. C. Campbell, of Dargaville, who is visiting Auckland, is at the Star Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. G. B* Sheridan, of Wellington, are among the latest arrivals at Cargen. Commodore A. G. Mr. Clutha Mackenzie and Mr. J. VV. Tibbe, who have been in Wellington in connection with the commission of»inquiry into the welfare of the blind in New Zealand, have returned to Auckland. Messrs. E. R. Whitec'hurch, J. P. Jensen, R. J. Jones, H. Atkins, E. R. Colline, C. G. Stewart, arid J. Silcock have been appointed by the GovernorGeneral as members *of the Xauhei Domain Board.
