Mr. K. C. Campbell, of Dargaville, who is visiting Auckland, is at the Star Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. G. B* Sheridan, of Wellington, are among the latest arrivals at Cargen. Commodore A. G. Hotham, of H.M.s. Chathnm. has returned from his. visit to Wellington. Dr. C. J. Reakes, Director-General of the Department of Agriculture, accom- ' panied by Mrs. Reakes, returned to Wellington last night. . Mr. Edwin Hall, of Onehunga, who has <been a member of the Board ; of Agriculture since its inception, has been reappointed as one of the Government nominees for a further term. Mr. Clutha Mackenzie and Mr. J. VV. Tibbe, who have been in Wellington in connection with the commission of»inquiry into the welfare of the blind in New Zealand, have returned to Auckland. Messrs. E. R. Whitec'hurch, J. P. Jensen, R. J. Jones, H. Atkins, E. R. Colline, C. G. Stewart, arid J. Silcock have been appointed by the GovernorGeneral as members *of the Xauhei Domain Board.
