I With the advance of popularity of the Association football game in Auckland, the local administrators of the code are finding a difficulty in getting grounds for accommodating.their teams, ard they have decided that the time is , ripe for'making an effort to get a playing area of their own. with the object of getting funds for the advancement of the game by various means which can be achieved only by a strong finance. Incidentally the possession of such grounds would also help t-o relieve the congestion experienced by players of all winter games. A meeting of those interested in the proposal will be held next week and i≥ announced in our advertising columns. |
