The directors' report of the Tnkapunr Tramwayrr-csd Ferry Company for the yeai ended March 31. to bo presented to share holders on May 15, states that the net prolil for the year was £0029 10/t). When the previous year's accounts wert closed, there was n balance in profit and losa account of £SOIO n/7, which, added to the year's profit, makes £14.039 10/4. From this amount have to !m deducted the following: Dividend for 1021-22 af 7J pei cent, £317S 14/0; part payment of shares issued, £4082 10/; interim'dividend at th<> rate of 7J per cent for the half-year ended September 30, 1022, £1830 7/2. This leaves a balance of £")847 18/ S. The directors now recommend a dividend for the second half-year at the rate of SS per cent, making S per cent for the year" absorbing £2215 19/, and leaving £3631 ID/8 to be carried forward.
