COMMITTEES APPOINTED..? t j The members of the Auckland City ! Council who were elected Inst week held j their first meeting of the year last I and those of the Council who were new to the table. Messrs. J. Donald. T. T. Garland, A. Thompson, and ('. (;. Ifocindoe, were welcomed by the Jlayor, Mr. i J. H. Gunson. His Worship stated that j it was a source of prent gratification to! him that so many of the old councillors J had been returned, and he was especially j pleased to see Mr. A. .1.
