At Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Emilio Pk-ariello and Mrs. Florence Lassandro were hanged together for the murder of Constable Coleman, who was shot as the outcome of the bootlegging feud. Mrs. L/assandro was the first woman executed in Canada for 24 years.— (A. and N.Z.) The condemned woman went to the scaffold calmly. She confessed to tiring a shot at the' constable.— (A. and X.Z.)
