INTERESTING NEW FUNCTION. HELPING COMMERCIAL TRAVELLERS. (From Onr Special Correspondent.) ILOMJOST, March 17. 3lr. P. H. Xixon, temporary director <the Economic and Financial Section of the Secretariat of the League of Nations, has come to London in connection with the new scheme for assisting commercial travellers who do business in more countries than one. The idea is to supply special facilities for commercial travellers and to organise the interchange or information about customs regulations. Germany and the United States have been invited to associate themselves with thie move, and it is. provable that they will accept. This is a . departure which should appeal to New Zealand business men who now find themselves confronted -*ith endless difficulty on the Continent, handicapping them against quick and effective accomplishment of their business.
