(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ASHBURTOX. this clay. The chairman of the Hospital Board replied to the Xational Women's Council with reference to bis remarks ou sterilisation of degenerates. "I have been correctly reported, but certainly I did not mean to connect any mental degenerate or epileptic'with any good girl, and in my opinion no treatment can be too harsh for the class of persons intended to be dealt with."
