1921 BEATS 1922. NEW YORK, April 29. Jock Hutchison and James Barnes, the 1821 British and American golf champions, defeated W. Hagen and G. Sara ;'" 'the 1922 British and American champions, in the first day's play at the two days' matches for a purse offered by Sir Stanley Cochrane. A 36-hole bestball- match was played, and Hutchison and Barnes won by six up and five to play.-(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
