NO DEALINGS WITH REBELS.
BREAKDOWN OF MOVEMENT. (Received l-.".n P'n.l LONDON. April 20. Dublin reports state that a curious situation has arisen out of attempts to make Monsignor Luzio. (he Papal envoy. in intermediary between the Government and the rebels. After sonic delay i meeting of the Dublin Corporation ivas culled to pass a resolution urging Monsignor Luzio to intervene, but not -nougb members attended to form a Riorum. As the members were actually in the building their absence was evilentlv due to a hint from the Government, which also published an official announcement that Mr. \V. P. ( osgrave, ['resident of tbe Dail, had received Mon3 i_-nor Luzio. who presented no credentials, his visit being purely a courtesy °'T- is expected that Monsignor Lu/.io's reply will hp the announcement of bis return to Home immediately Ihe I.oyerntuent is apparently so satisfied V th tbe breakdoYvu of the rebel organisation that it docs not desire to negotiate.— (A. ami X.Z. fable.)
