Ellerslie Club, winners of the Suburban Association's second grade championship. states that the club won the championship without a defeat. The game played last week against Unity, which the latter won by 10 runs, was. he says, only a scratch game to fill in a Saturday, and not a championship game, as had been claimed. Every championship match, except that against Harbour Board B, bad been won with an Innings to spare. Richmond were runuerstip. aud Unity occupied third place.
