They are begotten as offspring from a parent, they flourish and sons and daughters appear—offshoots of the parent body. A proper study of church history will reveal that Methuselah was not the name of a man but. of the eighth church or sect derived from Adam, the primitive and most per feet of tlie churches, being called man from the image and likeness of flod.
