EX-MINISTER'S PENSION.

A QUESTION IN THE HOUSE. LONDON, March 2,>. Mr. Stanley Baldwin stated in the House of t'ommon.s that Lord George Hamilton had relinquished a pension of £2000 yearly as an ex-Cabinet Minister. Mr. Lansiiury had called attention to the fact that Lord Hamilton was a director of several companies, and asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he would lake the same steps to inquire the means of Lord Hamilton during the period he received the pension as lie would take in the case of an old-age pensioner, and prosecute him if he had been getting money under false pretences. Mr. Baldwin did not reply to Mr. Liuisbiiry.
