A pint to destroy the metropolitan electrical and gas works having been discovered by Scotland Yard, special guards have been ported by the authorities to prevent sabotage intended to plunge London in darkness. The plot was hatched, according to Scotlnnd Yard, by Irish extremists, and was discovered during the roundup ot March 11. when many suspects were deported to Ireland. The authorities learn* that the danger is still great, and in consequence strangers are admitted to the electrical pla-its and gasworks only after a stringent examination.
