EC, ERY FROM THE SLUMP. (Received 1.30 p.ai.) SYDNEY, this day. Mr. Silk, the new manager of Mort's dock, states that owing to over-puroduc-tion during the war shipbuilding in Britain touched bottom in 1922, but there was every indication of expansion in future, especially in respect of passenger vessels. Australia would be unable to compete against Britain until the cost of production was reduced.— <A. asd N.Z.,
